Last week, Ebenezer Harcourt and Odinaka Okoro were in action for the Nigeria U-20, the Flying Eagles, in their two-legged international friendly against the Young Elephants of Cote D’Ivoire.

Our academy graduates who are now registered members of the first team featured for the Aliyu Zubairu-led side over the two legs of international friendlies, both played at the Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny, Cote D’Ivoire.

Odinaka Okoro, receiving his first call-up to the national team, featured across both legs. Ebenezer Harcourt, making a return to the team after a Triumphant WAFU-B outing last October, was in goal for the first game.
The Flying Eagles won the first leg by 2 goals to nil, losing the second leg by the same score.
The Nigeria U-20 side, who are seven-time African champions, are drawn in Group B of the African U-20 Cup of Nations alongside Egypt, South Africa and Morocco.
The tournament is billed to take place from the 26th of April to 18th of May in Cote D’Ivoire.
